Forest Growing & Management Qualifications

In general, jobs in this sector cover activities ranging from planting, weeding, pruning and pest management, to felling trees, fire management and road construction and maintenance. There are two qualifications at these levels:
- FPI20105 Certificate II in Forest Growing and Management
- FPI30105 Certificate III in Forest Growing and Management
This sector also calls for more technical skills in forest management, with a natural progression to the FPI40105 Certificate IV in Forest Operations.
This qualification gives you a balance of supervisory functions with technical skills in areas including; fire control, tree breeding and propagation, site establishment and maintenance, tree growing and maintenance.
