Australian Bluegum Plantations Pty Ltd (ABP) manages Blue Gum plantations in the Green Triangle region in south west Victoria, south east SA, and south west WA.

ABP's plantation estate comprises some 94,000 hectares of trees established between 1997 and 2010. The plantations are managed on a 10-15 year rotation, with a number of plantations already into their 2nd rotation.

ABP employs approximately 26 staff as well as using contractors for specific tasks.

Foresters working with ABP are responsible for a wide range of operations including establishment, plantation management, harvesting community and industry liaison.

ABP holds certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). FSC is an independent, non-governmental, not-for-profit organisation established to promote the responsible management of the world's forests. FSC is an internationally recognised certification system that provides standard-setting, trademark assurance and accreditation services to companies, organisations, and communities interested in responsible forestry.

ABP's parent company, Global Forest Partners LP, is one of the world’s oldest and largest timber investment management organisations. GFP currently manages a globally diverse USD2.7 billion portfolio of closed-end commingled timberfunds. GFP has equity holders and investment managers located in Santiago, Chile, Curitiba, Brazil, Montevideo, Uruguay, Auckland, New Zealand, Canberra, Australia, and Singapore.
